Preventive Medicolegal services to Hospitals & Healthcare Institutions

Following Preventive Medicolegal services are offered either on Retainership basis or incidence basis.

1.Drafting/Revising/Ratifying MOUs/Agreements/Contracts for and on behalf of Hospitals & Healthcare Institutions.

2.To provide guidance & consultation on regulatory, statutory & legal compliances/ affairs of Hospital.

3.To draft suitable replies to Notices/Letters/Complaints received from dissatisfied patients/ their relatives or Advocates.

4.To draft suitable replies to Notices/Letters/Complaints received from Police personnel, Appropriate Authorities & other Governmental agencies constituted under various Health Laws.

5.To provide routine Medicolegal advices for smooth functioning of Hospital including MLC, PM examinations etc.

6.To provide legal opinion on treatment transaction of particular patient & to suggest appropriate corrective measures.

7.To advice on medical records & documentation.

8.To provide legal opinions in respect of storage, preservation, disposal, corrections, issuance of Medical Records.

9.To guide Hospital Authorities & Medicos in respect of attending Court calls.

10.To pay periodical visits to Radiology Department for ensuring strict compliance of PC-PNDT Act/Rules.

11.To draft & execute various legal documents required under the provisions of Healthcare laws such as Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Act, PC-PNDT Act/Rules etc.

12.To meet Administrative Heads of Hospital such as CEO, Medical Director, Medical Superintendent during scheduled visits and in emergencies depending on the requirement of the Hospital.

13.To deliver lectures & talks on Medicolegal topics.
